It was a a dark and stormy night on the road to Cubi as Pat Bills 72 took a trip to go see a movie in his family’s 1966 Mustang. As he went around a curve on this windy road, he ran over what he thought was a tree branch. He stopped and popped out for a closer look and discovered it was a giant snake! After backing over it a couple of times he got out to take a look again and it was gone. “Probably crawled back into the jungle,” he thought.
After driving back home in Kalayaan, it was discovered that ‘The Great Snake’ was under his neighbors car. Apparently it had wrapped itself around his car axle and then went over to visit the neighbors. Pat went and got is spear gun, shot the snake and tied the line to the tree. From there, the fire department was called and the photos below were taken there.
The snake was eventually transferred to the Jungle Survival School where it lived out its days snacking on whatever could be caught including a few hapless monkeys.
